Office Location:
Physician practice located in Heritage Valley Beaver.
Work Hours:
No weekends or major holidays.
May be required to travel to Sewickley office.
Collects vital signs and patient history, collects specimens and performs basic laboratory tests, administers injections and medications as directed by provider in addition to other clinical tasks.
Administrative duties include ordering supplies, updating/maintaining medical records, obtaining referrals/authorizations and scheduling appointments.
Required High School graduate or equivalent.
CPR Certification.
Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.
Computer experience.
Preferred Medical Assistant diploma or degree program.
Minimum of one year medical assisting experience.
Proficient in venipuncture.
