71 an hour We are in search of a Level 1 Help Desk Technician to be a part of our growing team.
You will be joining a passionate, down-to-earth company culture with a heavy focus on customer service and collaboration.
As a Level 1 Help Desk Technician your responsibilities will include troubleshooting, repairing, and configuring basic computer systems as well as providing technical assistance and support for incoming service tickets from our customers.
You should be self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide helpdesk support, via phone, computer, in person, and through our ticketing system for most issues related to desktop software, hardware and peripherals.
Creating tickets in our ticketing system, gathering important details pertaining to the incident.
Creating and updating documentation when appropriate.
Able to assist, with direction, in projects (software installations, hardware installations, etc).
Assisting in workstation builds to produce a repeatable standard to our customers.
Assisting in installation of workstations onsite, leveraging customer specific installation procedures.
Escalate tickets to Senior staff, communicating key details and providing a warm hand off for ticket ownership.
Must participate in an on-call rotation.
Skills and Attributes:
Previous Managed Service Provider experience required A desire for solving problems while providing extremely high customer service.
Strong communication skills including written and verbal communication.
Including ability to translate computer terminology to non-technical users.
Driver's License and ability to commute to our Office.
Good understanding of workstation operating systems, specifically Windows 10 and 11.
Additional skills that would be nice to have but not required:
Previous Managed Service Provider experience.
Experience using a PSA and RMM solution.
Experience with Microsoft 365.
IT Certifications (ITIL, HDI, CompTIA, etc).
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this position the employee is regularly required to sit and talk and listen.
The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
The employee is required to stand, walk, and drive or ride in a motor vehicle.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Must have the ability to travel within Western Pennsylvania area, sometimes with short notice, and be able to provide after-hours support and weekend implementation as needed.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
